Glenn Palmer-Smith Review

Glenn Palmer-Smith Review - Art goes to War

I have to thank Glenn Palmer-Smith for asking me a simple question. "If you like Art so much, why don't you paint?" And so I painted. Full disclosure, Glenn and I are co-grandfathers of two beautiful boys who live in the Hudson Valley with their parents Dimity and Nolan (Glenn's son).

I recently asked Glenn for his opinion of my work so far. This was his reply:

Dear Laurence,

Your work is extraordinary. The vision and execution are wonderful. Truly. I am taking inspiration from your work. Especially your attention to detail. Paint on my friend, paint on!

All the best,

Glenn

Update. I drove up yesterday (July 19, 2026) to Sylvia and Glenn's lovely home in Bloomington, New York, to deliver the painting. I enjoyed some excellent pasta with home grown pesto sauce, listened to Glenn's many stories and GPS gave me a tour of his studio. He showed me his latest project and was very kind to give me one of his own works of an ?Italian Postmark, in pencil, which is quite remarkable.  Thankyou.

An early stage portrait of the artist.
