Returns & Shipping Policy

At Art Goes to War, we take great care in packaging and shipping every order. Please read our policy carefully as it varies by product type.

Original Paintings & One-of-a-Kind Works

All sales are final on original paintings and unique works of art. These are irreplaceable pieces and we are unable to accept returns. However, if your work arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue, including filing a shipping insurance claim or arranging a replacement where possible.

Archival Prints & Reproductions

We accept returns on archival prints within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Custom-sized or specially framed prints are non-returnable.

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at info@artgoestowar.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
  3. Ship the item back via a trackable method at your expense.
  4. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receipt and inspection, to your original payment method.

Apparel (Tote Bags, Visor Caps, Bomber Jackets & T-Shirts)

All apparel sales are final. Due to the custom-order nature of these items, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Militaria, Books & Photographs

Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery if the item is in its original, unaltered condition. Please contact us before returning any item.

Damaged or Defective Items

For any product category, if your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Shipping Policy

Production & Lead Times

Each piece in our collection is unique and produced to order. Please allow the following production times before your order ships:

  • Archival Prints & Photographs: 7–10 business days to produce and prepare for shipment
  • Original Paintings: 7–10 business days to prepare and package for shipment
  • Custom Framed Prints: Minimum 4 weeks production time before shipment
  • Apparel (Tote Bags, Visor Caps, Bomber Jackets & T-Shirts): 2–6 weeks to produce and prepare for shipment

You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order has been dispatched.

Domestic Shipping (USA)

  • Standard delivery: 5–10 business days after dispatch
  • Expedited options available at checkout

International Shipping

  • Shipped via tracked international carriers
  • Delivery: typically 10–21 business days after dispatch, depending on destination
  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes
