Top: WW2 Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Navigator/Radio Operator cloth wing brevet featuring an embroidered King’s Crown and a red lightning bolt over a globe. Embroidered white wings flanking a central globe enclosed by a wreath, surmounted by a crown and bisected by a red lightning bolt. Worn as an aircrew qualification badge on RCAF service uniforms
Middle: WW2 British Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot's qualification wing (brevet) featuring a King's Crown above the central "RAF" monogram surrounded by a brown/red laurel wreath. The insignia is machine-embroidered on a dark wool or felt backing, designed to be worn on the service dress uniform.
Bottom two: Eagle points to the rear on each shoulder “eyes all around”.
Blue Royal Air Force (RAF) eagle arm/shoulder badge.
Red Tropical service dress shoulder/arm eagle patch from the WW2 era (often worn on khaki drill uniforms). Machine- or hand-embroidered red cotton thread depicting a spread-winged eagle (informally nicknamed a "charognard" by some collectors) with black stitched wing-feather detailing on a lightweight khaki/tan canvas background. These shoulder flashes were issued to other-ranks personnel serving in tropical or desert climates during the 1940s
