Key Features & Design Details

The Insignia: The prominent bullion-embroidered badge features a silver fouled anchor inside a golden laurel wreath. It is surmounted by the Tudor Crown (King's Crown), used throughout the reigns of King George V, Edward VIII, and George VI.

Rank Indicator: The plain black patent leather visor indicates the rank of a Junior Officer (Sub-Lieutenant or Lieutenant). Senior officer ranks (Commander, Captain, and Admirals) would feature gold embroidered oak leaves along the peak.

Construction: It features the traditional dark blue/black wool doeskin crown mounted above a textured black mohair hat band and secured by a thin leather chinstrap.
