About This Work
American flag painted in acrylic on canvas.
While it features the traditional design elements of the United States flag—including the blue canton with white stars and alternating red and white stripes—it has a unique, stylized appearance. The white stripes are depicted with grey/silver tones to create shadow and dimension, and the fly end of the flag is shown as heavily tattered and torn, waving against a solid blue background.
